MOTION GRAPHICS

Animation is a tool I acquired outside of my studies as a Graphic Designer. My first attempts with Adobe After Effects introduced me to animation in 3D space. My animations are web compatible or can be added to other video graphics. Sometimes small details require an animated object, on the web I use .gif to meet popular video requirements. I like the process os working in AE because it has more graphics potential than SVG.

This video was produced using entirely stock footage and edited in Adobe After Effects with sound added from GarageBand.

Animation can take a long time and be costly. In this case I queued images from Photoshop to amplitude to avoid having to manually move each object every frame.

MOTION GRAPHICS

Motion graphics can be made using AI or Ps and queued in AE. I use a workflow that involves Adobe Creative Suite to streamline my process. I like to link and embed files to make editing more efficient. Some of my video graphics were made purely in Adobe Illustrator, Other times I might use photoshop for realism.

After Effects supports vector graphics. I created the elements for this video entirely in Adobe Illustrator.
