Tensegrity Table Project

One day I was looking for inspiration. I was sent a link to a Youtube video. I watched someone 3D print a tensegrity table and test its ability to balance with heavy items on it. I like to build things so I decided I would try to build my own. I purchased balsa wood, pressboard, glue, paint and decoration. I could use the process of building a table to suggest I can design and build things, the process overlaps with graphic design. Measuring, cutting and painting are some things I do digitally when creating graphics for print and web. So building a tensegrity table was a good study in design.

Result:
